Terms & Conditions - C Himalaya Tour and Travels

Last updated on 30 May 2026. These Terms & Conditions apply to all tour packages, hotel bookings, houseboat stays, transport services, activities, permits assistance and other travel services booked through C Himalaya Tour and Travels by website, phone, WhatsApp, email or office visit.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or booking any service with C Himalaya Tour and Travels, you agree to follow these Terms & Conditions, our Payment Policy, Cancellation/Refund Policy and any written booking confirmation shared by our team.

2. Services Offered

We provide travel planning and booking assistance for Kashmir, Ladakh and other destinations, including customized tour packages, hotel stays, houseboat stays, private transport, sightseeing arrangements, itinerary planning, local assistance and activity/permit guidance where applicable.

3. Quotations, Prices & Availability
  • Prices shown on the website may be indicative or starting prices and can change based on travel dates, hotel category, room sharing, group size, vehicle type, route, permits, supplier availability and season demand.
  • Final cost is confirmed only after our team shares a written quotation or booking confirmation.
  • Hotels, rooms, vehicles, houseboats and activities are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
  • If the selected hotel or service is unavailable, we may offer a similar alternative after informing the guest.
4. Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only after the required advance payment is received and a written confirmation is shared by C Himalaya Tour and Travels. Verbal discussion, website enquiry or WhatsApp chat alone does not guarantee confirmation unless payment and written confirmation are completed.

5. Payments, Cancellation & Refunds

Payment timelines, cancellation charges and refund processing are governed by our Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policy. Cancellation/refund rules may vary for peak season, group tours, houseboats, Ladakh tours, Amarnath Yatra, special departures and bookings involving multiple suppliers.

6. Guest Responsibilities
  • Guests must provide correct names, contact details, travel dates, ID proof details and travel preferences.
  • Guests are responsible for carrying valid ID proof, permits, medical essentials, warm clothing and any required travel documents.
  • Guests must follow local rules, hotel policies, driver instructions, safety guidelines and government restrictions.
  • Any extra services requested during the tour may be chargeable and subject to availability.
7. Itinerary Changes & Force Majeure

Itineraries may be adjusted due to weather conditions, road closures, flight delays, curfew, government restrictions, security situations, natural calamities, health emergencies, supplier issues or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, our team will try to provide the best possible alternative, but additional costs may be payable by the guest depending on the situation.

8. Third-Party Services

Hotels, transport providers, activity operators, airlines, pony/union cab services, guides and other suppliers may have their own terms and policies. C Himalaya Tour and Travels coordinates these services, but final service delivery may also depend on the respective supplier and local conditions.

9. Limitation of Liability

C Himalaya Tour and Travels will not be liable for losses caused by delays, cancellations, accidents, illness, weather disruptions, road conditions, natural events, government restrictions, guest negligence or third-party supplier failures beyond our reasonable control.
