Cancellation & Refund Policy - C Himalaya Tour and Travels

Last updated on 30 May 2026. This policy explains cancellation charges, refund timelines and important conditions for tour packages, hotel bookings, houseboat stays, transport services and other travel arrangements booked with C Himalaya Tour and Travels.

1. General Cancellation Terms

Cancellation requests must be sent in writing through email, WhatsApp or any official communication channel. The cancellation date will be considered from the time our team receives the written cancellation request.

2. Standard Cancellation Charges
  • 45 days or more before travel: 25% of total package cost may be charged.
  • 44 to 31 days before travel: 50% of total package cost may be charged.
  • 30 to 16 days before travel: 75% of total package cost may be charged.
  • 15 days or less before travel: 100% of total package cost may be charged.
3. Supplier & Peak Season Conditions

Some hotels, houseboats, transport providers, activity operators and suppliers may apply their own cancellation rules. During peak season, festival dates, long weekends, Amarnath Yatra, Ladakh season, Christmas/New Year, group bookings or special departures, cancellation charges may be higher or non-refundable.

4. Refund Processing
  • Approved refunds are normally processed within 7–14 business days after supplier confirmation.
  • Refunds are usually processed to the original payment method or verified bank account provided by the guest.
  • Bank/payment gateway charges, permit fees, ticket charges, taxes or supplier deductions may be non-refundable.
5. Weather, Road Closure & Force Majeure

In case of bad weather, road closure, flight cancellation, curfew, natural calamity, government restriction, medical emergency, security situation or any force majeure event, refund or rescheduling will depend on the policies of hotels, transport providers, airlines, activity operators and other suppliers involved.

6. No-Show & Early Departure

No refund will normally be provided for no-show, unused sightseeing, missed meals, unused hotel nights, early checkout, late arrival or services not used by the guest due to personal reasons.
