Payment Policy - C Himalaya Tour and Travels

Last updated on 30 May 2026. This Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policy of C Himalaya Tour and Travels applies to tour packages, hotel bookings, houseboat stays, transport services and related travel arrangements booked through our website, office, phone, WhatsApp or email.

Booking Payment & Confirmation:

To secure your reservation, an advance payment must be made as per the final written quotation shared by our team. Balance payment should be completed before or at the time specified in the booking confirmation.

• 45 or more days before departure: 25% of the total tour/package cost.
• 44 to 31 days before departure: 50% of the total tour/package cost.
• 30 to 16 days before departure: 75% of the total tour/package cost.
• 15 to 1 day before departure: 100% of the total tour/package cost.

Failure to pay the required advance or balance amount within the agreed timeline may result in cancellation of services, subject to supplier and hotel policies.

Cancellation Charges:

Cancellation charges may vary depending on travel dates, hotel rules, transport arrangements, permits, peak season demand and supplier policies. Standard cancellation guidelines are:

• 45+ days before departure: 25%
• 44–31 days: 50%
• 30–16 days: 75%
• 15–1 days: 100%

Refund Policy:

• Approved refunds are normally processed to the original payment method or bank account provided by the guest.
• Refund processing usually takes 7–14 business days after supplier confirmation and approval.

Exceptions:

In case of weather disruption, road closure, flight cancellation, natural calamity, curfew, government restriction, medical emergency or any force majeure situation, cancellation/refund handling will depend on hotel, transport, airline and local supplier policies.

Group Bookings:

Special payment and cancellation rules may apply for groups, customized itineraries, peak-season departures, Amarnath Yatra, Ladakh trips, houseboat stays and bookings involving multiple hotels or vehicles.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version posted on our website will apply to new bookings.
