Tour Itinerary

Arrive at Srinagar Airport, where our representative will welcome you and assist with your private transfer to a houseboat on Dal Lake or Nigeen Lake. Complete the check-in formalities and take some time to relax. Later, enjoy a one-hour Shikara ride across the calm lake, passing floating gardens, traditional wooden homes and local markets. Return to the houseboat for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay in Srinagar.

After breakfast, check out from the houseboat and begin a sightseeing tour of Srinagar. Visit Nishat Garden, Shalimar Garden, Chashme Shahi and Pari Mahal, each offering beautiful views of Dal Lake and the surrounding Zabarwan Mountains. You may also visit the Hazratbal Shrine and explore the local handicraft markets for Kashmiri shawls, carpets, dry fruits and souvenirs. In the evening, check in at your Srinagar hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, leave for a full-day excursion to Sonamarg, known as the Meadow of Gold. The drive follows the Sindh River and passes through scenic villages, orchards and mountain landscapes. Upon arrival, explore the main valley or hire a local pony or union vehicle to visit Thajiwas Glacier, subject to accessibility and weather conditions. Spend time enjoying the riverside surroundings before returning to Srinagar in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

After breakfast, check out and travel to Gulmarg through Tangmarg and the countryside of North Kashmir. On arrival, check in at the hotel and enjoy the refreshing mountain surroundings. You may experience the Gulmarg Gondola, subject to ticket availability and weather conditions. Depending on the season, optional activities may include skiing, snowboarding, sledging, pony riding or short nature walks. Dinner and overnight stay will be in Gulmarg.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out and departing for Pahalgam. The journey passes through countryside landscapes, saffron-growing areas and the historic town of Awantipora. On arrival in Pahalgam, check in at the hotel and relax. Later, explore the local market or walk beside the Lidder River while enjoying views of pine forests and surrounding mountains. Dinner and overnight stay will be in Pahalgam.

After breakfast, dedicate the day to exploring Pahalgam’s beautiful surroundings. Visit Aru Valley, Betaab Valley and Chandanwari by a vehicle operated by the local taxi union. Each valley offers a different combination of forests, rivers, meadows and mountain scenery. Alternatively, guests may visit Baisaran Valley by pony at their own expense. Return to the hotel after sightseeing and spend the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be in Pahalgam.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Srinagar. En route, stop near the ancient Awantipora temple ruins and visit a local saffron or dry-fruit outlet, depending on available time. After reaching Srinagar, check in at the hotel. The remaining evening is free for shopping at Lal Chowk, Residency Road or Polo View Market. Dinner and overnight stay will be in Srinagar.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Our driver will transfer you to Srinagar Airport according to your scheduled flight. Depart with memorable experiences of Srinagar, Sonamarg, Gulmarg and Pahalgam, marking the conclusion of your 7 Nights and 8 Days Kashmir holiday from Pune.
