Arrive at Srinagar Airport, where our representative will welcome you and assist with your private transfer to the hotel. After check-in and some rest, begin your sightseeing tour of Srinagar. Visit Nishat Bagh, a beautiful Mughal garden overlooking Dal Lake, followed by Shalimar Bagh and Chashme Shahi. Depending on your arrival time, you may also visit Pari Mahal, Hazratbal Shrine or Shankaracharya Temple. In the evening, enjoy a peaceful one-hour Shikara ride on Dal Lake and admire the surrounding mountains, houseboats and floating markets. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Srinagar. Places covered: Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, Chashme Shahi and Dal Lake Night stay: Srinagar

After breakfast, proceed towards Gulmarg, one of Kashmir’s most popular hill destinations. The scenic drive passes through Tangmarg, colourful villages, pine forests and mountain landscapes. On arrival, explore Gulmarg’s open meadow and enjoy views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. You may take the famous Gulmarg Gondola ride, subject to ticket availability and weather conditions. Phase 1 operates towards Kongdoori, while Phase 2 continues towards Apharwat Mountain. During winter, visitors may enjoy snow activities, skiing, sledging and snowmobile rides at their own expense. Later, drive back to Srinagar for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel. Places covered: Tangmarg, Gulmarg Meadow, Kongdoori and Apharwat area Night stay: Srinagar

After breakfast, leave for a full-day excursion to Sonamarg, popularly known as the Meadow of Gold. The journey follows the Sindh River and offers beautiful views of valleys, villages, forests and snow-covered mountains. After reaching Sonamarg, spend time exploring the main market and riverside surroundings. You may hire a local pony or union-authorised vehicle to visit Thajiwas Glacier, Zero Point or other accessible locations at your own expense. Access to these areas depends on weather, road conditions and local authority regulations. Return to Srinagar in the evening. Check in at a traditional houseboat and enjoy a relaxing experience on Dal Lake or Nigeen Lake. Dinner and overnight stay will be in the houseboat. Places covered: Sindh River route, Sonamarg Valley and nearby sightseeing areas Night stay: Srinagar houseboat

After breakfast, check out from the houseboat and drive towards Pahalgam, the Valley of Shepherds. On the way, stop near Pampore’s saffron-growing area, visit the ancient Awantipora temple ruins and see traditional Kashmiri dry-fruit or cricket-bat shops, subject to time and interest. After reaching Pahalgam, check in at the hotel and relax. Later, explore the main market, Lidder River and surrounding landscapes. You may hire a local union vehicle for Betaab Valley, Aru Valley and Chandanwari. Local union transportation is payable directly unless specifically included in your package. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Pahalgam. Places covered: Pampore, Awantipora ruins, Lidder River and Pahalgam Night stay: Pahalgam

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your return journey to Srinagar. Depending on your flight departure time, you may stop for shopping or visit any remaining attraction along the route. Our driver will transfer you to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey. Depart Kashmir with beautiful memories of Srinagar, Gulmarg, Sonamarg, Pahalgam and your traditional houseboat experience. Guests should preferably book an afternoon or evening departure flight because the drive from Pahalgam to Srinagar Airport usually requires approximately three to four hours, depending on traffic, weather and security checks.
