Tour Itinerary

Arrive at Srinagar Airport after your journey from Delhi and meet our representative outside the terminal. You will be assisted with a private transfer to your reserved hotel in Srinagar. After check-in and some rest, begin a leisurely tour of Srinagar, subject to your arrival time. Visit the beautiful Mughal Gardens, including Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh, overlooking Dal Lake and the surrounding Zabarwan Mountains. You may also visit Chashme Shahi, Pari Mahal or the revered Hazratbal Shrine. In the evening, enjoy a one-hour Shikara ride on Dal Lake and admire the floating gardens, traditional houseboats and peaceful waterside scenery. Afterwards, explore Boulevard Road or shop for Kashmiri handicrafts, dry fruits and saffron. Overnight stay at a hotel in Srinagar.

After breakfast, continue exploring the cultural and historical attractions of Srinagar. Visit Shankaracharya Temple, located on a hilltop overlooking Dal Lake, followed by a visit to the famous Hazratbal Shrine. Depending on the season and available time, explore the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, Botanical Garden or Pari Mahal. Later, walk through the old city markets, where you can discover traditional Kashmiri architecture and shop for pashmina products, carpets, papier-mâché articles and local spices. In the afternoon, check in to a traditional houseboat on Dal Lake or Nigeen Lake. Spend the evening enjoying the calm surroundings and distinctive hospitality for which Kashmir’s houseboats are known. Overnight stay in a deluxe houseboat in Srinagar.

After breakfast, leave for Gulmarg, one of Kashmir’s most celebrated mountain destinations. The drive passes through Tangmarg, forests, villages and scenic countryside before reaching Gulmarg. On arrival, explore the meadows and enjoy views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. Travellers may book the Gulmarg Gondola, which operates in two stages: Gulmarg to Kongdoori and Kongdoori to Apharwat. Gondola tickets should be booked in advance and remain subject to weather, availability and operating conditions. During the winter season, visitors may enjoy skiing, sledging and snow activities at their own expense. In the warmer months, Gulmarg is ideal for walking, photography and pony rides. Any sightseeing requiring a local union vehicle must be arranged separately. Return to Srinagar in the evening. Overnight stay at a hotel in Srinagar.

After an early breakfast, proceed towards Pahalgam, a beautiful valley situated beside the Lidder River. On the way, see saffron fields around Pampore, the historic ruins of Awantipora and traditional countryside views. After reaching Pahalgam, enjoy free time near the river and explore the main market. Travellers may hire a local taxi from the authorized Pahalgam Taxi Union to visit Aru Valley, Betaab Valley and Chandanwari. These valleys are known for forests, streams, mountain scenery and peaceful picnic locations. Baisaran Valley, popularly called Mini Switzerland, can be visited by pony ride or trekking at additional cost. All union taxis, pony rides and adventure activities are payable directly unless specifically included in the selected package. Return to Srinagar after sightseeing. Overnight stay at a hotel in Srinagar.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Depending on your flight or train schedule, you may have time for last-minute shopping at Lal Chowk or a short visit to a nearby attraction. Our driver will transfer you to Srinagar Airport or Srinagar Railway Station for your return journey to Delhi. Please plan to reach Srinagar Airport well before the scheduled departure because security checks may require additional time. The 4 Nights 5 Days Kashmir tour concludes with beautiful memories of Srinagar, Dal Lake, Gulmarg and Pahalgam.
