A complete Ladakh tour usually includes Leh, Sham Valley, Nubra Valley, Pangong Lake and sometimes Tso Moriri or Turtuk. The itinerary should be planned carefully because long drives and altitude can make rushed travel uncomfortable.
Suggested 7 to 8 day plan
- Day 1: Arrival in Leh and acclimatization.
- Day 2: Leh local sightseeing and Sham Valley.
- Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La.
- Day 4: Nubra Valley sightseeing or Turtuk day trip.
- Day 5: Nubra to Pangong Lake.
- Day 6: Pangong to Leh.
- Day 7: Departure or buffer day.
Adding Tso Moriri
To include Tso Moriri comfortably, keep at least 8 to 10 days. It is better for travellers who want a deeper Ladakh experience beyond the common Nubra and Pangong route.

This itinerary is suitable for couples, families, groups and photography travellers. Senior citizens or guests with health concerns should choose a slower itinerary with more rest time.
