The leopard, musk deer, black and brown bears, common palm civet, jackal, red fox, yellow-throated marten, long-tailed marmot, and Himalayan weasel are just a few of the additional wildlife species that Dachigam is home to. The pearly white snow leopard, with its gleaming silver coat, can be found near Dachigam at higher altitudes. Despite being icy and pure, there is still avifauna there.
